As part of the Chris Ronald Trio, Mike will perform with Chris Ronald and John MacArthur Ellis at this year’s Folk Alliance Conference. It takes place February 14-18 in Kansas City, and is the world’s largest gathering of the folk music industry and community.

Judging at Fiddling Contests

Mike judged and performed at both the Central Fraser Valley and Prince George fiddling contests alongside Mark Sullivan and Keith Hill.
During the Prince George competition, Mike’s student Kai Grongberg won the 2014 BC Provincial Fiddle Championships at age 16. Click Here to view a youtube video of Kai’s final set!

Last night at the 36th Annual BCCMA Awards Gala & Industry Soiree, Mike Sanyshyn took home the following two awards:

Mike is currently touring with Nashville based artist Deric Ruttan. They are scheduled to perform on the CCMA’s 2012 in Saskatoon live on CBC Television.
